Eight-panel cap inspired by traditional Japanese boro, crafted from layered cotton with visible stitching and depth of texture. The wired roll-up visor moves easily from a natural curve to a crisp fold, offering both relaxed and refined styling.
Featuring the Hiragana motif "MA" (ま), a reference to negative space — the quiet interval that gives form and balance.
Each cap is individually cut and sewn to order. Subtle variations in the layered cotton, stitching and texture make every piece distinct.

Behind the Making
From sourcing the textiles to cutting each panel by hand, the Boro cap is assembled individually in the studio. Layered fabrics are balanced, stitched, and shaped into an eight-panel form, with subtle variations emerging naturally from the materials.
